Spacemaker was established to provide prefabricated construction accommodation units to contractors, consultants and clients. It developed over time into a highly technical, efficient and fast modular construction alternative to traditional construction which uses Light Gauge Steel (LGS) as the main structural element. Spacemaker now services its many clients across Qatar from a bespoke 20,000 m² fabrication yard in the New Industrial Area.
While Spacemaker still provides solutions for vast ”temporary” accommodation and site facilities required to construct some of the largest global infrastructure development projects being tackled in Qatar, there are numerous examples where the Spacemaker modular technology has been applied to permanent buildings.

There are less risks in Off-site manufacturing as operations are better controlled in our fully mechanised manufacturing facility, which is housed in a purpose-built industrial unit in the New Industrial Area. There we bring your designs to life through computer-aided cold forming machines that produce light gauge structural sections for floors, walls, ceilings, roof, and trusses.
