Arab Qatari Agricultural Production Company has been established by the 58th decree issued by His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar in Nov. 1989. The Companies’ capital (47.000.000 QR) is dually shared by the government of the State of Qatar (Hassad Foods) and Arab Authority for Agricultural & Investment Development (AAAID).
THE ADMINSTRATIVE BODY:
1- The board of Directors: Sets up the Companies’ policy, approves the annual plan & budget, revises rules & regulations …. Is formed of six members, 3 representing Hassad Foods and 3 from AAAID. The chairman is appointed from the Qatari side.
2 – The executive technical staff, whose residence is at the Companies’ farm at Shahaniya located 33 km west of Doha.
3 – The Companies’ Head Office is in Doha.
